Additional Notes

The elements of adjusting the powder and shot valves are the same for all models.

Other common features are: the philister head screw, the brass washer, the plastic dowels and the set screws

Model "C/CS" replaces all the standard charging bars and bushings used in MEC single-stage reloading machines (MEC600Jr., 700Versamec, Sizemaster 77, MEC600, 400, 250 and 250 Super, Mark 5; and Texan LT, GT and FW).

Model "D/DS" replaces all the standard charging bars and bushings used in MEC progressive reloading machines (MEC650 and MEC Grabber, etc.).

Model "C/CS" and Model "D/DS" Features:

  • can be used for reloading both LEAD-SHOT, STEEL-SHOT, and BISMUTH
  • can be used for all gauges, for both field and target loads
  • fully adjustable from 1/2 oz. to 2 1/4 oz. for lead shot,
from 7/8 to 1 1/2 oz/ for steel shot, and
from 12 grs to 55 grs for powder

It is strongly advised to check all charges (powder & shot) with a reliable scale.
(see " How to check powder charges ".)
The adjustable shot cavity has the added advantage, that one can easily adjust the given settings to compensate for different shot sizes/qualities, in order to get exact payloads.
